About This

  • FITMENT FOR JEEP LIBERTY:For Jeep Liberty 2002-2007 with the 3.7L V6 Naturally Aspirated Gas engine. The supplied fitment information is limited to this engine and year range. Verify the exact model, year, engine and original reservoir before ordering.
  • PRESSURIZED 1.7 L CONFIGURATION:The included cap has a listed maximum pressure rating of 110 ±15 kPa. The 1.7 L capacity is measured at the MAX fill level rather than the brim, leaving the intended space for coolant expansion. Correct pressure retention also depends on the cap neck, hose connections, clamps and other cooling-system components.
  • TRANSPARENT PP RESERVOIR:The transparent tank makes it easier to inspect the coolant level, discoloration and dried residue without opening a hot cooling system. PP construction is rated from -30°C to 120°C for the listed engine-compartment application. This configuration does not provide a coolant-level sensor function, so compare the original reservoir before ordering.
  • REPLACEMENT REFERENCES:Cross-references 603-319, 52079848AA, 52079788AD, 52079788AE, CY0716471 and V330228. Compare the replacement number, reservoir shape, mounting points, cap neck and hose connections because similar-looking coolant tanks may use different configurations.
  • BUILT AROUND REAL REPLACEMENT NEEDS:Cracks, seam or hose-neck seepage, dried coolant residue, repeated coolant top-offs or a falling coolant level may indicate deterioration of the original reservoir or its connections. BDFHYK treats the tank as part of a pressurized cooling system: cap rating, sealing surfaces, hoses, clamps, correct filling and bleeding all affect operation. Continued coolant loss or elevated engine temperature requires complete cooling-system diagnosis.
