• PRESSURIZED 1.3 L CONFIGURATION:The included cap has a listed maximum pressure rating of 140 ±15 kPa. The 1.3 L capacity is measured at the MAX fill level rather than the brim, leaving the intended coolant expansion space. PA66+GF30 construction is rated from -30°C to 120°C and supports dimensional stability around the cap neck, hose connections, sensor area and mounting points through normal heat cycles and vibration. Configured for applications using an external coolant-level sensor; confirm the original sensor and connector before ordering. • WHY DRIVERS REPLACE THE RESERVOIR:Cracks, seam or hose-neck seepage, dried coolant residue, repeated coolant top-offs or a low-coolant warning can indicate deterioration of the original reservoir or its connections. Replacing the tank addresses reservoir-related leakage and sealing problems, but it cannot correct faults elsewhere in the cooling system. Continued coolant loss or elevated engine temperature requires further diagnosis.
• BDFHYK SYSTEM-LEVEL APPROACH:Reliable pressure retention depends on more than the reservoir body. Cap rating, cap-neck geometry, hose connections, sensor seating, clamps and the vehicle’s filling and bleeding procedure all affect cooling-system operation. Compare the original tank, front mounting position, hose layout, sensor configuration and replacement number before ordering. Install only after the engine has cooled completely.
