• FITMENT FOR FORD MUSTANG:For Ford Mustang 2005-2010 4.0L V6 Naturally Aspirated Gas; 2005-2010 4.6L V8 Naturally Aspirated Gas; 2007-2010 5.4L V8 Supercharged Gas. The 5.4L engine has a narrower year range. Verify the exact year, engine displacement, aspiration type and original reservoir before ordering.
• PRESSURIZED 2.3 L CONFIGURATION:The included cap has a listed maximum pressure rating of 110 ±15 kPa. The 2.3 L capacity is measured at the MAX fill level rather than the brim, leaving the intended space for coolant expansion. Correct pressure retention also depends on the cap neck, hose connections, clamps and other cooling-system components.
• VISIBLE LOWER RESERVOIR:The black upper section and translucent lower section combine defined connection areas with easier coolant-level inspection. The translucent section also helps identify discoloration or dried residue without opening a hot cooling system. PP construction is rated from -30°C to 120°C. This configuration does not provide a coolant-level sensor function.
• REPLACEMENT REFERENCE:Cross-references 603-051. Compare the replacement number, reservoir shape, mounting points, cap neck and hose connections before ordering. Similar-looking Ford Mustang coolant tanks may use different capacities or connection layouts across other model years and engines.
• BUILT AROUND REAL REPLACEMENT NEEDS:Cracks, seam or hose-neck seepage, dried coolant residue, repeated coolant top-offs or a falling coolant level may indicate deterioration of the original reservoir or its connections.
